My Practice at Golden Cabinet Herbal Medicinary and Acupuncture Clinic

As one of the practitioners who share the space at Golden Cabinet Herbal Medicinary and Acupuncture Clinic in Southeast Portland, I offer my services as both a licensed acupuncturist and as a Chinese Herbal practitioner. My passion for Chinese Medicine began with my love of herbs and has encouraged my never-ending study of Chinese Herbal Medicine. In practice, my emphasis is on detailed and accurate diagnosis – largely through the careful taking of the pulse. By gaining a thorough and cohesive diagnosis, I can prescribe an herbal formula that is just right for your constitution and your current health conditions. I incorporate multiple styles of bodywork throughout my treatments - including craniosacral work, shiatsu, and myofascial techniques. My acupuncture treatments are gentle, yet effective, and aim to restore the proper flow of energy, or Qi, through the channels. The acupuncture treatments I choose are based largely on the diagnostics which come from the bodywork and these two modalities are practiced almost as a single technique.
